Ron, Julie and Zoe, the Youde family and Swift Sunrise serve underprivileged youth and their families in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica. They use a youth baseball program called the Jaco Royals to build relationships, share the Gospel, and provide character training. This program and these relationships are a bridge to ministry programs operated by Swift Sunrise in the marginalized neighborhoods of Cristo Rey and Las Parcelas. The vision in these communities is to be used by God to break the generational cycle of drug and alcohol addiction and prostitution by introducing the Gospel, Bible training, Biblical family values, and future career training and opportunities.
